Bomb threat on Air India flights going from Kathmandu to Delhi, search operation underway
Kathmandu: Nepal's international airport police chief Dumbar Bahadur BK has confirmed that they have received a bomb threat on an Indian Airlines flight from Kathmandu to New Delhi. After this threat, Nepal Police and Army have started a joint search operation.
According to the information received, as soon as the threat was received, the airport authorities immediately implemented all security measures. Passengers and aircraft staff were evacuated to a safe place and airport security has been brought to the highest level. After getting information about the identity and condition of the aircraft, it is being thoroughly checked.

Dumbar Bahadur BK told news agency ANI that we have received a bomb threat on an Indian Airlines flight going from Kathmandu to New Delhi. The search operation is going on with the help of Nepal Police and Army. He also informed that the safety of all passengers is of paramount importance and are prepared to face any situation.
Police and security forces are now investigating the threat to see if it is a false threat or a real threat. Statements of all the passengers and staff of the aircraft are being taken and a detailed investigation of the aircraft is being done using technical equipment.
The incident has further heightened concerns over security at the Tribhuvan International Airport. An atmosphere of fear and apprehension has arisen among the passengers, but the airport authorities have assured them that all necessary steps are being taken for their safety.
