Boney Kapoor Admits Being Attracted To Other Women, But Love For Sridevi ‘Will Never Go Away’

Film producer Boney Kapoor has opened up about his enduring love for his late wife, Bollywood icon Sridevi, who tragically passed away in 2018. In a candid interview with ABP Live, Boney shared heartfelt memories and insights into their relationship, emphasising that his love for Sridevi remains unwavering even after her death.

“We were inseparable,” Boney recalled. “I was in love with her, I am in love with her, and I will be in love with her till my dying day.” He expressed profound gratitude for their union, acknowledging the rare joy of having the “most sought-after personality” choose to spend her life with him. “When the most sought-after beauty, when the most sought-after personality becomes convinced to spend the rest of her life with you, what greater joy could there be?” Boney said, adding that he never strayed from their bond. “I never cheated on her. She was my everything.”

Reflecting on his continued affection, Boney mentioned that while he may have female friends and could feel attracted to other women, his passion for Sridevi will never fade. “Even today, I may get attracted to females around me, but as far as she’s concerned, the passion and love will never go away,” he shared.

Boney also discussed the evolution of relationships, particularly the dynamics that unfold after years of marriage. He touched on the concept of the “seven-year itch,” noting that couples reveal their true selves as they spend more time together. “Opposites attract,” he said, referring to how, despite their differences, he and Sridevi grew closer over the years. “You learn so many things about your partner over the journey,” he continued. “You learn to become careful about not doing things they don’t like. Both sides grow to understand each other.”

Boney also delved into the way relationships shift after several years, especially in terms of communication and emotional openness. “Especially after seven years, you truly get to know your partner; their likes and dislikes. They feel that they have the freedom to truly express themselves,” he explained. He further noted that in the early years of marriage, both partners are more inclined to tolerate each other’s quirks, but as time goes on, they start to express their true feelings, especially when children grow older.

Sridevi and Boney Kapoor have two daughters, actors Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor, while Boney also has two children, Arjun and Anshula Kapoor, from his first marriage to the late Mona Shourie.
