- 1 cup curd
- 2 tbsp gram flour
- 1 cup boondi
- 3 to 4 cups water
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp ghee or oil
- 1 tsp cumin
- ½ tsp mustard
- a pinch of asafoetida
- 8 to 10 curry leaves
- 2 whole dry red chillies
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 2 finely chopped green chillies
- salt as per taste
- green coriander for garnishing

easy way to make
- First of all, add curd and gram flour in a big bowl and beat it well so that the mixture becomes completely smooth.
- After this, add turmeric, salt and water to it and stir well again, so that there are no lumps.
- Now put this mixture in the pan and cook on flame.
- While cooking, keep stirring continuously so that the curry does not stick to the bottom.
- After cooking for about 15 to 20 minutes, when the curry becomes a little thick, then add boondi to it and let it cook for 2 to 3 more minutes.
- To make tadka, heat ghee or oil in a small pan.
- Add cumin, mustard and asafoetida in it. Then add curry leaves, dry red chilli, ginger and green chilli and fry lightly.
- Add the prepared tempering to the curry and mix well.
- Lastly, garnish with green coriander and enjoy delicious Boondi Kadhi with hot rice.
