New Delhi: The Bihar Public Service Commission has declared the BPSC 70th Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) Prelims result today, January 23. The BPSC 70th CCE Prelims result link is available on the official website of the commission at bpsc.bihar.gov.in. Through this recruitment drive of BPSC, 2,027 vacancies will be filled.
5,76,000 candidates applied for the exam, out of which 3,28,990 candidates appeared. A total of 21,581 candidates have qualified the prelims exam.
BPSC 70th CCE Result 2025: Steps to check online
The BPSC 70th CCE exam 2025 result can be checked online by following the below-mentioned steps-
- Step 1: Go to the official website of the commission at bpsc.bih.nic.in
- Step 2: Then on the homepage navigate to the ’70th CCE Prelims Result 2024′ link and click on it.
- Step 3: The login window will appear where candidates need to enter the roll number and other login details.
- Step 4: After submitting the login details the BPSC 70th CCE Prelims result page will be displayed on the screen.
- Step 5: Check the result and take the print out of the PDF for records.
The Bihar CCE Prelims exam was conducted on December 13. For candidates who appeared for the exam at a Patna centre, a re-exam was conducted on January 4. As per the marking scheme, candidates got one mark for each correct answer while 0.25 marks were deducted for the incorrect response. There were a total of 150 objective-type questions on general studies, mathematics, history and English in the BPSC 70th CCE question paper.
BPSC 70th CCE Prelims exam controversy
Despite protests by candidates on the BPSC prelims paper leak at an exam centre, the commission did not cancel the exam. The exam conducting authority denied the reports of the paper leak and issued legal notices to politicians including others who claimed it and were a part of the controversy.
