BPSC final result released, how did UP’s Shraddha Pandey become the topper?

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has declared the final result of its 70th Combined Competitive Examination. Shraddha Pandey from Uttar Pradesh has secured first position in this examination and has become the topper. This is the largest recruitment process in the history of the Commission since independence with a total of 2,027 successful candidates selected.

 

Shraddha Pandey of Uttar Pradesh has become the topper in this examination. Four women candidates are included in the top 10 candidates of the examination. These include Rashmi Kiran at number six, Upasana Sharma at number nine and Priya at number ten. Shashank Pandey has secured second position and Aksh Vijay has secured third position. This time the performance of women has been very good and out of the entire top 100 ranks, women have secured their place in 45 places.

A total of 2,027 people have been selected in this recruitment. This includes a total of 2,009 posts from 27 different departments of the government. Apart from this, 12 posts were kept for work related to child development and 6 posts were kept for officers looking after accounts. All these people will now work in the government service of Bihar.

 

About 4 lakh 83 thousand people had filled the form for this examination. The first exam was held on 13 December 2024. There was some problem at a center in Patna, hence the examination there had to be cancelled. That examination was later conducted again on January 4, 2025 at 22 centers in Patna. 3 lakh 28 thousand 990 people had appeared in the first examination. After this the result came on 23 January 2025. Out of that, 21,581 people were selected for the next examination.

next exam

The next exam was held in April 2025. 21,027 people participated in it. Its result came on 16 December 2025. After this 5,449 people were called for interview. Commission Secretary Satya Prakash Sharma said that 5,449 people were called for interview, out of which 2,027 people got jobs. This number is much higher than last time. In the last 69th examination only 475 people were selected and in the 68th examination only 324 people were selected.
