Desk: BPSC has postponed the Assistant Education Development Officer exam. This examination was to be held on different dates from January 10, 2026 to January 16, 2026. The Commission has said that information about the new exam date will be released later. Issuing the notice of postponement of the examination, Bihar Public Service Commission said that the Assistant Education Development Officer Recruitment Examination to be held from 10 January 2026 to 16 January 2026 (except 14 January) is postponed due to unavoidable reasons. The date of re-conduct of this examination will be announced on the website of the Commission.

There are 935 vacancies of Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) in Bihar. In which 374 vacancies are for unreserved, 93 for economically weaker, 150 for SC, 10 for ST, 168 for extremely backward, 112 for backward and 28 for backward class women. This time a record 9.7 lakh applications have been received for this recruitment.
