Greenwich Entertainment has shared the official trailer for Magic Hourthe upcoming drama movie starring Hamilton vet Daveed Diggs and Emmy winner Brad Garrett (Gleason). The movie is slated to arrive in theaters sometime this Spring.
“The film follows Erin and Charlie as they work through a challenging new phase of their relationship on a trip to the desert. Both actors are in top form as they navigate major emotional highs and lows with humor and heart,” reads the official synopsis.

What happens in the Magic Hour trailer?
The video shows a couple trying to work on their relationship. They escape to the desert, where they face a new challenge in their marriage, which could either break them or make their bond stronger. The movie stars Diggs as Charlie, Garrett as Brad, Katie Aselton (Togetherness) as Erin, Susan Sullivan (Dharma & Greg) as Diane, D.J. ‘Shangela’ Pierce (We’re Here) as Ricky, Sabryna Williams as Sabryna, Jo Lopez as Jo, and more.
Magic Hour is directed by Aselton, who co-wrote the screenplay with Mark Duplass. This marks Aselton’s fourth directorial feature after 2010’s The Freebie with Dax Shepard, 2012’s Black Rock with Lake Bell, and 2022’s Mack & Rita with the late Diane Keaton. The movie is executive-produced by Jay Duplass, Mark Duplass, and Mel Eslyn, with Emily A. Neumann serving as a producer. The creative team includes director of photography Sarah Whelden and production designer Arielle Ness-Cohn, along with editors Kate Boston and Stephanie Kaznocha.
