Barhi, Hazaribagh, Jharkhand:-
A meeting of Barhi block unit of All India Kayastha Mahasabha was organized at NH Dak Bungalow located on Dhanbad Road. The meeting was presided over by Block President Ashok Bakshi, while subdivision in-charge Shailendra Sinha conducted it.
The meeting started with wishes for the Hindu New Year. During this, the members present discussed the role of women on the occasion of International Women’s Day and described their contribution in the society as important.
Many officials including District President Arun Kumar Prabhat, Executive President Brij Mohan Prasad, District Vice President Sanjay Kumar Ambashta and Organization Minister Ajay Kumar Sinha were present in the meeting. During this, expansion of the organization, connecting people of the society and organizing regular monthly meetings were discussed in detail.
Also, expressing concern over the proposed UGC Bill of the Central Government, it was said that it should be registered against it. District President Arun Kumar Prabhat said that through the program ‘Maha Sabha Aapke Dwar’, the Chitransh community of the block area will be organized on one platform.
Under this, special efforts will be made to increase the participation of women and youth and empower them socially.
Many members including Ajit Katriyar, Gopal Chandra Ghosh, Nagin Kumar Sinha, Anoop Pradhan, Amar Pradhan, Ravindra Kumar Sinha, Sanjay Kumar Sinha, Jaideep Kumar Sinha, Shyam Kumar Sinha and Nikhil Kumar were present in the meeting.
Finally, Block President Ashok Bakshi concluded the meeting with a vote of thanks.
