Bravery is not dependent on any caste or religion: Kunwar Manvendra Singh
Lucknow. In the Kshatriya Purodha Tribute Ceremony-2026 organized by Uttar Pradesh Kshatriya Lok Sevak Parivar Mahasamiti, Legislative Council Chairman Kunwar Manvendra Singh said that bravery cannot be limited by the boundaries of any caste or religion. Any citizen who sacrifices everything for the protection and integrity of the nation is a Kshatriya in the true sense. He said that this event is not just an event, but a moment to remember the glorious tradition, bravery, renunciation and sacrifice of the Kshatriya community. Along with protecting the motherland in the battlefield, the Kshatriya community has also presented the ideals of ethics, dignity, justice and devotion to duty. His bravery is still a source of inspiration for the society.

Tribute paid to 25 Kshatriya priests, descendants honored
Mahasamiti President Baba Hardev Singh said that if we keep forgetting our ancestors, then the coming generations will be cut off from their glorious past. With this purpose, the Mahasamiti has started the tradition of paying tribute to 25 Kshatriya leaders every year from this year, so that the new generation can become familiar with their history and heritage.
In the program, litterateur Vidyabindu Singh, while mentioning the tradition of paying debt to ancestors, said that remembering the ancestors is a meaningful effort to connect history with the present.
Professor Lovely Sharma of Indira Kala Sangeet University described such events as giving new direction to the society. Meanwhile, Vice Chancellor of Bhatkhande Sanskrit University, Mandvi Singh said that this initiative to save the memories of ancestors will connect the coming generations with history. Women Welfare Corporation President Kamlavati Singh and other speakers also expressed their views.

Descendants of contributors to the world of education honored
In the ceremony, the descendants of Kshatriya priests who made significant contribution in the field of education were honored. The family members of UP College founder Uday Pratap Singh, Rani Subhashree Devi and Principal D.K. Singh, Yuvraj Ambrish Singh, family member of RBS College founder Balwant Singh, representatives related to TD College founder Tilakdhari Singh and Vice Chancellor Lovely Sharma were honoured, remembering the contribution of Indira Kala Sangeet University founders Virendra Bahadur Singh and Rani Padmavati Singh.
Program coordinators Aradhana Singh, Shiv Sharan Singh, Devraj Singh, Dr. Anupama Singh, Dr. Urmila Singh, Engineer S.N. Singh, Smt. Rita Singh, Musafir Singh, Ramnayak Singh and other officials also received honours. General Secretary of the General Committee, Indrasan Singh welcomed and congratulated. In the end, SKD Singh, founder of SKD Academy, expressed his gratitude.

In the ceremony, 25 great Kshatriya leaders from ancient to modern times – Rishi Vishwamitra, Sadhvi Sulabha, Lord Mahavir, Lord Buddha, Lord Ram, Maharaj Ikshvaku, Maharaj Mandhata, Maharaj Bhagiratha, Maharaj Harishchandra, Maharaj Agrasen, Emperor Chandragupta Maurya, Emperor Ashoka, Rani Durgavati, Emperor Harsh Vardhan, Maharaj Suheldev, Veer Kunwar Singh, Revolutionary Bandhu Singh, Rana Veni Madhav Singh. Bais, Maharaj Ganga Singh (Bikaner), Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali, Raja Uday Pratap Singh, Raja Balwant Singh, Srimant Tilakdhari Singh, Raja Yuvraj Dutt Singh and Raja Virendra Bahadur Singh-Rani Padmavati—were paid floral tributes.
The program started with floral tributes, lighting of lamps and Saraswati Vandana on the pictures of 25 Purodhas. The presence of a large number of distinguished citizens made the event dignified.
