Brazil ‘X’ ban lifts : Brazil's Supreme Court has approved social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to resume service in the country, ending a months-long standoff between platform owner Elon Musk and Brazilian authorities. The Supreme Court on Tuesday lifted the ban imposed on social media platform 'X' for more than a month for disobeying the court order. Actually, X was banned in Brazil on August 30.

According to media reports, Judge Alexandre de Moraes ordered the reinstatement of X's services in the country after X paid a fine of approximately 28.6 million riyals. “I announce the lifting of the suspension and authorize the immediate resumption of the activities of 'X' Brazil Internet Limited within the national territory,” Moraes said. I also order the National Telecommunications Agency to implement this decision and report to this Supreme Court within 24 hours.
