BREAKING: Pakistan’s Star Player BANNED by ICC Over THIS Violation

Pakistan’s all-rounder has received a three-month ban. He tested positive for a prohibited substance during tournament play. The substance testing occurred after Pakistan’s match against the Netherlands. His records from the entire tournament have been nullified. Mohammad Nawaz’s Positive Test and Anti-Doping Violation Details

Mohammad Nawaz tested positive for Carboxy-THC during the match. The positive doping test was conducted right after the match. Pakistan’s star player banned following the Netherlands cricket match. The match occurred on February 7 in Colombo city.

Nawaz admitted to the anti-doping violation quite openly there. He stated the substance was consumed outside of the competition completely. The ICC accepted his explanation about the substance completely.

However, the applicable sanction was still imposed by the ICC. The suspension was backdated to May 1, 2026. Nawaz voluntarily accepted a provisional suspension before the official ban was imposed.

Before disqualification, Nawaz had taken seven tournament wickets. His bowling average was 22.28 during the entire tournament there. His economy rate was 7.80 in tournament cricket. The ICC Anti-Doping Code provisions allowed his disqualification.

All of his tournament statistics were removed from the records. His performance data will no longer appear officially. The ICC maintained strict adherence to anti-doping regulations.
