Pain in nipple: When the child grows up, he presses the nipple more often. Due to which there may be pain in the nipple. In many cases, bleeding also starts coming from the nipples.
Sagging breast: Breastfeeding for a long time causes a woman's breast tissue to become loose. As a result, the breasts sag which makes them look unsightly.
Breastfeeding for a long time causes harm to the child
Not feeling full: Children who are used to breast feeding, their stomachs always remain empty. Such children neither eat food properly nor do their stomachs get filled with mother's milk.
Lack of growth: If children above two years of age are breastfed, their mental development may be impaired. Such children do not eat properly and remain dependent on mother's milk.
Irritability in child: Breastfeeding children can be irritable. After a time, mother's milk does not come in sufficient quantity due to which the child's stomach does not get filled. This is the reason why the child remains hungry and irritable.

Break the habit of breastfeeding like this
– Give Solid Diet: The child's appetite also increases with age. Breastfeeding does not fill the child's stomach adequately, so start giving solid diet to the child. Give pulses, roti and rice to the child so that his stomach remains full for a long time.
– Explain lovingly: Children who are used to breast feeding have to be fed at all costs. In such a situation, explain it to the child lovingly. Share your problems with your child.
– Snacking: The child starts feeling hungry after some time. This is the reason why he demands milk from his mother. If your child becomes hungry again and again, make him a habit of snacking. That means, after some interval, give healthy snacks to the child so that his attention can be diverted from breast milk.
