India got its eighth blow. Jasprit Bumrah comes to the crease. Bumrah had played only two balls properly when he was caught in the slip on the third ball. There was silence on the field. The face of every cricket fan was sad as he was waiting for Nitish's century. After Bumrah's departure, Mohammad Siraj came on the field. Prayers started being sought for Nitish's century in Melbourne. Siraj still had to play three balls in the over. Everyone's heart was pounding, it seemed as if breathing had stopped. After this came the moment for which crores of fans were waiting with all their hearts. Nitish fired Boland's ball over his head and the ball crossed the boundary line. There was a celebratory atmosphere on the field.

This century will be remembered for centuries

Nitish sat on his knees, placed the bat down and hung the helmet on it. Along with Nitish's celebration, everyone joined in the celebration. Nitish did what every batsman dreams of doing on the Melbourne pitch. The happiness on Nitish's face was telling in itself the importance of this century innings. There were tears in the father's eyes and his heart was full of joy. This innings played under pressure will probably be remembered in Melbourne for centuries.
