Paramedics and welfare staff tried their best to provide emergency care, but unfortunately he later died in the hospital. The safety and well-being of our visitors has always been our top priority. Following this tragic incident, and to allow emergency services and local authorities to carry out their essential work, we have decided to close the remainder of the festival and have asked people to evacuate when it is safe for them to do so.

North Wales Police said emergency services attended the festival site early on Saturday morning ‘after receiving reports of a medical emergency’.
