Britain’s King Charles Pays 3-Day Private Visit to Bengaluru | Read

Bengaluru: Britain’s King Charles made a private visit to Bengaluru, staying at an expansive integrative medical facility, sources reported on Wednesday. He was accompanied by Queen Camilla.

“The royal couple followed a special diet as part of their wellness treatments. Their rejuvenation regimen included meditation and various therapies,” an official stated.

“They also relished lengthy strolls around the 30-acre campus and visits to an organic farm,” he stated.

“They stayed at the facility for three days and departed from the city this morning,” he further added.

The King’s visit to ‘SOUKYA’, the International Holistic Centre located at Samethanahalli, near Whitefield, is not his first. In 2019, he celebrated his 71st birthday there. The centre is managed by Dr Issac Mathai, who was one of the select individuals from India invited to his coronation as the King of the UK.

Over the years, Charles has actively supported Ayurveda. He was present with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to the UK in April 2018, at the Science Museum in London, for the inauguration of a new Ayurvedic Centre of Excellence. This centre is dedicated to establishing a unique global network for evidence-based research on yoga and Ayurveda.
