1 broccoli
1 pinch garam masala powder
4 tbsp refined oil
4 green chillies
1 pinch turmeric
3 cups wheat flour
1 onion
2 tbsp flour
1/2 tsp salt
water as required
Step 1 Boil the Broccoli Pieces
Wash the broccoli under running water and cut off the florets. Keep these aside until needed further. Take a pan, put it on medium flame and add water into it. Boil water and add chopped broccoli florets with salt in the pan.
Step 2 Prepare the Broccoli Mixture
Meanwhile, peel and chop the onion. Take boiled broccoli, green chillies, turmeric, garlic cloves and garam masala powder in a mixer jar/grinder and make a paste.
Step 3 Make the Dough
In a deep bowl, add wheat flour, all purpose flour, salt, chopped onion and prepared broccoli-chilli paste. Add water to this bowl and knead the mixture into a dough.
Step 4 Roll out the parathas
Once the dough is ready, take a small portion of the dough and shape it into a ball. Press this ball and with the help of a rolling pin make a big circle (paratha-like shape).
Step 5 Cook the paratha on both sides
Now take a pan and apply refined oil on it. Place the prepared balls on the pan and cook until both sides turn greenish-brown.
