Broke the record of centuries in ODI, now Kohli will end Sachin’s reign in List-A.
Team India’s veteran batsman Virat Kohli is in tremendous form. After scoring 2 centuries in the 3-match ODI International series against South Africa, Kohli scored a century in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Playing for Delhi on Wednesday (24 December) in this premier 50 over format tournament of Indian domestic cricket, he scored 131 runs in 101 balls with the help of 14 fours and 3 sixes against Andhra. With the help of his explosive innings, Delhi easily achieved the target of 299 runs in 37.4 overs.
During his explosive innings, Kohli broke Sachin Tendulkar’s record of fastest 16,000 List-A runs. Sachin had touched the mark of 16 thousand runs in 391 innings, while Kohli crossed this figure in his 330th innings. Kohli is now close to breaking another big record of Sachin.

Kohli will end Sachin’s reign
Virat Kohli has gone ahead of Sachin Tendulkar in terms of scoring most centuries in ODIs. Sachin had scored 49 centuries in One Day International. Kohli has left him behind and scored 53 centuries. Now he is going to defeat Sachin in List-A cricket.
Sachin has 60 centuries in 538 innings in List-A. Kohli is just 2 steps away from him. Kohli has so far scored 58 centuries in 330 innings in List-A cricket. If we look at his current form, he can break Sachin’s record very soon. Kohli will play a Vijay Hazare Trophy match against Gujarat on 26 December. After this he will be seen in the 3-match India-New Zealand ODI series starting from January 11. It is possible that Kohli can end Sachin’s reign in these 4 matches.
