Dead bodies of brother and sister from Maharashtra found in Thiruvananthapuram hotel, police recovered suicide note.

Thiruvananthapuram: The brothers and sisters from Maharashtra had come to Kerala, but on Sunday suddenly a bad news related to them has come to light. The bodies of both were found in a hotel room in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala on Sunday morning. This is being said to be a case of suicide.

Brother and sister hailing from Maharashtra were found dead in a hotel room in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala on Sunday morning. Police said that the deceased brother and sister were originally residents of Pune and both had come to stay in the hotel last Friday.

The hotel staff found the room closed for a long time in the morning, after which they informed the police. Police said that the man's body was found hanging, while the woman's body was lying on the bed. A suicide note was also found in the hotel room, indicating that both of them had neither a home nor a job.

Both the deceased are natives of Maharashtra

According to the information received, two people were found dead in a hotel room in Thampanoor in Thiruvananthapuram district. The deceased have been identified as Dakatai Kontiba Baman (48) and Mukta Kontiba Baman (45), natives of Maharashtra. The incident is said to have taken place on Sunday morning.

Suicide note also found

A top police officer who reached the spot said, “A suicide note has been found and we can give detailed information only on the basis of further investigation. It is being ascertained why both of them had come to Thiruvananthapuram and what led them to take this drastic step.” It is written in the suicide note that they are orphans and the body should not be handed over to their relatives. The initial inclination of the police is that the brother first murdered the sister and then committed suicide. Police said that the cause of death will be known only after post-mortem.

Came to Thiruvananthapuram for treatment

According to information received from the police, both of them took a room in a hotel near Thambanur police station on January 17. According to the documents submitted at the hotel, he was identified as a native of Maharashtra. Police suspect that the deceased was a disabled woman and both of them had come to Thiruvananthapuram for treatment.
