BSF foiled terrorist infiltration in Jammu, major conspiracy of enemies foiled…arms, ammunition recovered
Jammu and Kashmir: To ensure the security of the border, the Border Security Force (BSF) has taken strict vigilance in Jammu and Kashmir. On Friday, a terrorist was arrested in Pargwal sector while trying to infiltrate. The arrested terrorist has been identified as Abdul Khaliq, from whom arms and ammunition were recovered. This action took place amid fears of terrorist activities from across the border.
Enemies’ big conspiracy failed
Abdul Khaliq is suspected to be associated with Jaish-e-Mohammed. Khaliq, a resident of Darhal in Rajouri district, had gone out of Jammu and Kashmir in 2021 and was returning to promote terrorism. As soon as he entered the border, alert soldiers caught him. One MP5 rifle, one magazine, 10 bullets and one empty drum magazine were recovered from Khaliq. He has been handed over to Jammu and Kashmir Police for further action.
Infiltration plan of Jaish terrorists
Two days ago, BSF had received input about suspicious activities of Jaish-e-Mohammed across the border. There was information that the terrorists were planning to infiltrate with a large group. After this, border security arrangements were further strengthened. Intelligence agencies have warned that Pakistan has activated more than 70 terrorist launchpads across the international border and LOC. 12 launchpads in Sialkot and Zafarwal areas and about 60 launchpads near the LoC in Jammu division are said to be active.
Strategy to foil the plans of terrorists
Border Security Force, Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police are working together on a strategy to foil the plans of terrorists. Many meetings of officials have taken place in these matters. Search operations on the border have been intensified and cooperation is also being sought from the border residents to strengthen the security grid. Due to this vigilance and coordination, success has been achieved in preventing any major incident. It is clear from this whole matter that Indian security agencies are making every possible effort for border security and terrorism prevention, so that no infiltration or attack from across the border can occur.
