According to Sector-6 police station in-charge Sangeeta Kumari, the accused general manager lives in his residence in Sector-5, Bokaro. A case has been registered against him under 55/25 in Chhattisgarh. He has been arrested in the same case of 376/377. After the arrest, as per rules, the police took him to Bokaro Sadar Hospital, where he was medically examined. After investigation, Chhattisgarh Police took him with them to Bhilai. He will be presented in the court in Chhattisgarh itself.

According to the information, Kaustubh Basu has previously worked in Bhilai Steel Plant. Currently, the case is being investigated by Chhattisgarh Police. Police say that further action will be taken as per legal process. Chhattisgarh Police kept avoiding telling anything in this matter.
