BTS releases comeback teaser in livestream trailer ahead of ‘Arirang’ release

Entertainment:BTS is ready to make the comeback of a lifetime, and there’s no stopping them. The group just teased a sneak peek of their upcoming livestream on Netflix, which will take place one day after the release of their 5th studio album, ARIRANG. In the clip, RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook can be seen laying the foundation for a never-before-seen comeback. BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG will take place on March 21, 2026 at 8 PM KST for a one-hour livestream on the OTT platform.

In the trailer, the group’s pre-military break is hinted at, as the members express their desire to reunite with their fans. From empty concert grounds to a big, bold comeback. The world’s biggest band has been revealed to be making a comeback this month. As the seven singers are introduced one by one, they seem confident that this time apart has made them better. “I think every one of us was evolving in some way,” says Vee.

Leader RM can be heard saying, “Seven people together, we can do anything,” as their visuals BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | Let’s welcome fans back home with ARIRANG. “Keep swimming,” he says, perhaps a hint at the group’s title song from the album, SWIM. The livestream, which will be shot at Gwanghwamun Square (Gwanghwamun Plaza) in Seoul, South Korea, will be for millions of fans around the world who are expected to tune in.

BTS will release their 5th full-length album on March 20, marking their comeback with new music after three years and nine months. After this, the group will do a world tour of 34 cities with 81 stops, and after a long wait, they will meet their fans in person. Following the livestream, a feature-length documentary will also be released on Netflix. The documentary, titled BTS: THE RETURN, will follow the group’s journey while working on the record and will be available to watch on March 27, 2026.
