King Charles welcomed 2026 with New Year message days after sharing an encouraging update on his health.
The royal family released the clip to their official Instagram page on Wednesday, December 31, showing Buckhingham Palace with lighting display.
The monarch appears illuminating the way to the new year with joy as his office is seen blazing with hope.
“Wishing you a Happy New Year!” read the message alongside the animation, which beautifully featured the Palace surrounded with fireworks effect.
Shortly after the heartfelt wish, royal followers flooded the comments section to extend best wishes for the King and his family, with one writing: “As 2026 arrives around the world, we wish you all a very happy New Year!”
Anotehr wrote: “Have a Great New year’s Celebration with yourself families and friends.”
The post comes days after the monarch shared a good news about his cancer, saying in a personal message that early diagnosis and “effective intervention” means his treatment can be reduced in 2026.
“This milestone is both a personal blessing and a testimony to the remarkable advances that have been made in cancer care,” said King in a recorded video message.
The King’s recovery has reached a very positive stage and he has “esponded exceptionally well to treatment, according o the Palace.
