Building map approval will be easy in Noida, new rules approved
Lucknow, Amrit Thoughts: In the meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Monday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the new Okhla Industrial Development Authority (Construction of building on land transferred through exchange) Rules-2025 was approved. After the implementation of this new rule, there will be no need to go to court for map approval in Noida area, rather all such applications will be disposed of directly by the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority.
Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi said that currently under Noida Building Regulations-2010, there was a clear system of map approval only on the land allotted through lease deed. On the contrary, due to lack of clear policy in cases of construction of buildings on land that came into private ownership through exchange, there were difficulties in disposal of applications.
The Minister said that due to this situation, a large number of landowners were taking recourse to the courts, which was not only causing unnecessary legal hassles to the people but was also delaying the work of the authority.
