Bulldozer action will be taken against Abdul, the main accused in Bahraich incident! PWD sent notice

PWD has put notices on the houses of 23 people including Abdul Hameed, the main accused in Bahraich violence. A notice has been pasted by the department regarding construction of houses by encroaching on the government road. A notice has been issued to remove the construction built at a distance of 60 feet from the middle of the rural road within 3 days.

It has been said in the note that in relation to the above subject, it is to be informed that Kundasar Mahsi Nanpara road is a road in the category of major district road. According to departmental standards, any construction done without departmental permission within a distance of 60 feet from the midpoint of the road in rural areas on a major district road comes in the category of illegal construction.

Therefore, you are informed through notice that if you have done this construction with the permission of District Magistrate, Bahraich or with prior departmental permission, then provide its original copy immediately and remove the said illegal construction yourself within three days. Otherwise, action will be taken to remove illegal construction with the help of police and administration. The expenditure incurred in the proceedings will be recovered from you through revenue.

Violence took place on 13-14 October

After the violence during the immersion procession on October 13-14 in Bahraich, UP, the police on Friday produced five accused Abdul Hameed, Rinku alias Sarfaraz, Faheem, Talim and Afzal at the residence of CJM Pratibha Chaudhary in Judges Colony. From where the CJM sent the accused to jail in judicial custody on remand for 14 days.

Meanwhile, on the fifth day of violence, peace seems to be returning to the city. Heavy police force was deployed in view of the first Friday prayers after the violence at Ghantaghar, the main market of the city Kotwali. There was strict police surveillance at every intersection. People of Muslim community offered namaz peacefully at all the major mosques of the city. During this period, DM Monica Rani, SP Vrinda Shukla, City Magistrate Shalini Prabhakar, City Police Area Officer Ramesh Pandey continuously toured across the city.
