Patna. There is good news for the candidates preparing for government jobs. National Institute of Technology Patna (NIT Patna) has released the notification for recruitment to Non-Teaching posts for the year 2026. A total of 38 posts will be filled under this recruitment drive.
Let us tell you that eligible and interested candidates can apply online through the official website of the institute. The application process has started from 3rd March 2026 and its last date has been fixed as 24th March 2026.
Brief description of recruitment
Through this recruitment, various posts of non-teaching staff will be appointed in the institute. Selected candidates will be provided with pay scale PB-3 (₹15,600 – ₹39,100) with grade pay of ₹5,400.
Educational qualification
Candidates applying for these posts must have a Master’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute with at least 55 percent marks or equivalent CGPA. Apart from this, candidates who have rendered 2 to 5 years of regular service as Superintendent or Private Secretary in the PB-2 pay scale and have a Master’s degree are also eligible to apply.
age limit
The maximum age of the candidates applying has been fixed at 35 years. However, departmental candidates will be given age relaxation up to a maximum of 5 years as per Central Government rules.
