* Bhopal/ Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla has directed that the process of recruitment for medical and assistant medical posts in the Public Health and Medical Education Department should be completed on priority. The concerned departmental officers should be in regular touch with the selection institutes. There should not be any delay in completing the formalities. The Ministry reviewed the updated status of the selection process conducted in the Health and Medical Department by the Public Service Commission and Staff Selection Board at Vallabh Bhawan. Commissioner Public Health Tarun Rathi, Secretary Medical Education Surabhi Gupta and Director Mallika Nagar were present. It is noteworthy that recruitment is under process for 33 thousand 118 posts in the Health and Medical Education Department. Of these, there are 3 thousand 341 posts of notified category, 3 thousand 620 of nursing category and 5 thousand 732 posts of unannounced category.

These include 18 thousand 653 posts sanctioned for IPHS standard, 5 thousand 664 posts for 263 upgradation institutions, 195 posts for Kailashnath Katju Civil Hospital, 7 thousand 977 posts for 454 upgradation institutions, 414 posts for 9 Government Nursing Colleges and 10 others. 215 posts of institutes are included. Public Service Commission and The staff selection is being done by the board.
