Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that in the financial year 2026-27, recruitment will be done for more than 81 thousand posts in UP Police. This will provide new employment opportunities to the youth. CM Yogi issued strict instructions in this regard and said that the entire recruitment process should be transparent. He gave clear instructions to the officials that the merit and reservation rules should be strictly followed.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a review meeting of the police department in Lucknow. Senior officials of the police department were present in the meeting. CM Yogi said in the meeting that in this financial year, recruitment will be done on more than 81 thousand posts in UP Police.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed that merit and reservation rules should be strictly followed in every selection process and cleanliness, transparency and timeliness should be ensured. In the information released from the Chief Minister’s Office, it was said that this recruitment will provide employment opportunities to the youth and will also provide a capable, energetic and modern police force to the state.
Zero tolerance policy on corruption
CM Yogi Adityanath once again stressed on the policy of zero tolerance in the meeting and said that corruption will not be tolerated in the state. Swift action will be taken against such people.
Instructions to further improve PRV-112 service
While reviewing the PRV-112 service, CM Yogi said that efforts should be made to further reduce the average response time of about 6 minutes at present. He directed that strategic location of PRV vehicles should be decided and their continuous movement should be ensured, so that the security confidence of the general public is strengthened and a clear message is sent to the criminals.
