Samson gave credit to Bumrah

After the match, Sanju Samson gave credit for this victory to Jasprit Bumrah. When he was talking after getting the title of Player of the Match, he said that Bumrah should have got the title of Player of the Match in this match. According to him, Bumrah is such a bowler who is born once in many generations and he bowled amazingly in this match too.

Bumrah became the troubleshooter

There came a moment during the match when it seemed that it was difficult for Team India to reach the final. England needed 45 runs to win in the last three overs. Jacob Bethel was batting after scoring 94 runs in 42 balls and Sam Curran was supporting him at the crease. Jacob had become a problem for the Indian bowlers. In such a situation, Team India gave the responsibility to Bumrah.

Bumrah gave just 6 runs in the 18th over and brought India back strongly. Now England needed 39 runs in the last 2 overs. In this match, Bumrah gave only 33 runs in 4 overs and also took the wicket of Harry Crook.
