Bundesliga clubs circling for wantaway Benfica defend António Silva

It’s believed that BVB could be one of serval Bundesliga clubs interested in the 22-year-old Portuguese centre-half.

According to Sky Germany, Benfica’s António Silva is believed to be pushing for a move away from the Lisbon-based club.

The agents of the 18-time Portuguese international are reportedly actively marketing him on the market.

Sky reports that several unnamed Bundesliga clubs have apparently already made concrete inquiries for the young centre-half.

However, Borussia Dortmund, under their new sporting director Nils-Ole Book, will be looking for top-class central defenders in summer.

Although rumours suggest defensive leader Nico Schlotterbeck looks likely to stay, BVB will be keen to recruit a new defensive partner.

Since Silva’s contract expires in 2027, the transfer fee is estimated at a relatively modest €15million to a maximum of €25million.
