There was an old trunk kept below. Amarnath put noose around the necks of the children and also put a noose around his own neck. Then he said that now we all have to leave this world together. He said, ‘When I say so, all of you jump out of the trunk.’

The children were scared, but agreed to obey their father. The three daughters and two sons climbed onto the trunk. Amarnath signaled and everyone jumped. But as soon as Shivam started suffocating, he somehow removed the noose from his neck. Then he immediately removed the noose from the neck of his younger brother Chandan also. In this way both the sons were saved. But father Amarnath and his three younger daughters hanged themselves. He had died. Both the sons started making loud noise. Hearing his voice the neighbors came running. Everyone was stunned to see the scene inside the house. Four dead bodies were found hanging and people immediately informed the police.

The exact reasons for suicide are not known

The police team of Sakra police station immediately reached the spot. They brought down the bodies, took possession of them and sent them for post-mortem. The police took information about the entire incident from the two remaining brothers. Police officers were also surprised to hear this story. Police say that the exact reasons for suicide have not been known yet. But from the initial investigation and the children’s words, it seems that financial constraints and the shock of his wife’s death were the main reasons.
