New Delhi: Saif Ali Khan reportedly sustained injuries after an intruder attacked him with a knife at his residence in Mumbai. It is believed that the shocking incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday (January 16, 2025) at 2:30 am. His actress-wife Kareena Kapoor and their children are said to be safe.
The 54-year-old hunk was immediately rushed to hospital for medical treatment following the attack that resulted in six stab wounds. He is currently undergoing surgery at the Lilavati Hospital in Bandra.
Who attacked Saif Ali Khan?
The identity of the attacker is yet to be determined. It is to be noted that there were a total of seven security guards on duty at night and three separate gates providing access to the residence. However, several crucial questions remain unanswered:

Through which gate did the attacker enter? Was he a burglar or someone with a different intent? Was his motive burglary? Did he know Saif? Or, was he given a target? The crime branch has initiated an investigation to find the answers.
Probe begins
According to the latest updates, the police have confiscated the mobile phones of the people working in Saif’s house, including those who were involved in security work. Some people have even been taken to the police station for questioning by the probing officials.

A cop, based on the initial information, was quoted as saying by PTI that an unidentified person entered Saif’s house and both of them engaged in a scuffle. The police official further said that some family members of the actor were also present in the house at the time of the incident.
