The fusion of classic and modern design, the Yezdi Roadster has won great respect in the Indian motorcycle market. The motorcycle was awarded the prestigious “Bike Design of the Year” award at Car&Bike’s prestigious automotive awards ceremony. This honor adds another milestone to the roadster’s growing success.
Even earlier this motorcycle had won the “Best 350cc Motorcycle” award in the Zee Media Auto Awards this year. Classic Legends co-founder Boman Irani accepted the award from Thomas Dalle, renowned automotive designer and dean of Strate School of Design India.

According to the company, the Roadster’s ‘Born Out of Line’ design is a departure from conventional motorcycle styling. The long and low-stance silhouette, the powerful look of a cruiser and the comfortable ergonomics of a roadster are the perfect combination of this bike. A wide rear fender and one of the widest rear tires in the segment gives the motorcycle a powerful stance.
In terms of design, the Roadster features modular seating. So riders can convert the bike into a single-seat bobber style or dual-seat touring configuration within minutes. Even with the rear seat removed, no bolts are visible anywhere, giving the motorcycle a clean and attractive bobber look.
The motorcycle is powered by a 350cc liquid-cooled Alpha2 engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch. Appropriate seat height, good ground clearance and comfortable riding position are provided for rider comfort.

Additionally, the popular Shadow Black Edition of the Roadster has been introduced in a completely blacked-out style. This edition eschews the use of chrome or silver finishes to give it a modern ‘stealth’ look.
According to Boman Irani, co-founder of Classic Legends, the Yezdi brand has taken a different approach to traditional motorcycle design since the 1970s, and the Roadster exemplifies the same bold thinking.
The motorcycle is currently available at authorized dealerships across India at a starting price of Rs 1.96 lakh (ex-showroom).
