Bus and dumper collide; 13 passengers burnt alive, 22 injured

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu expressed grief over the deaths of people.

Amravati. A private travel bus and a dumper collided with each other on Thursday near Rayavaram in Markapuram district of Andhra Pradesh. In this tragic road accident, 13 passengers died by burning alive. Earlier information about 14 deaths was given by the police. Later the CM office gave official confirmation of the death toll.
Officials said that the Harikrishna Travels bus was going from Nirmal in Telangana to Nellore. The road accident happened around 6:00 in the morning. Fire personnel brought the fire under control in about three hours. 22 injured including the dumper driver have been admitted to the hospital. There were 35 passengers in the bus. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has expressed grief over the deaths.
