Business: Market capitalization of 7 companies in top 10 decreased by Rs 35,439 crore, SBI suffered the biggest loss.
New Delhi. The combined market capitalization of the seven most valued companies in the top 10 declined by Rs 35,439.36 crore in the last week that remained small due to holidays. State Bank of India suffered the maximum loss during this period. Last week, BSE Sensex rose 112.09 points or 0.13 percent.
Among the top 10 companies, the market capitalization of Reliance Industries, Tata Consultancy Services, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, Bajaj Finance, Larsen & Toubro and Life Insurance Corporation of India declined. On the other hand, HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel and Infosys were among the gainers.
The market capitalization of State Bank of India declined by Rs 12,692.1 crore to Rs 8,92,046.88 crore. Reliance Industries’ valuation declined by Rs 8,254.81 crore to Rs 21,09,712.48 crore. The market capitalization of Bajaj Finance declined by Rs 5,102.43 crore to Rs 6,22,124.01 crore.
On the other hand, HDFC Bank’s valuation increased by Rs 10,126.81 crore to Rs 15,26,765.44 crore. During this period, the valuation of Infosys and Bharti Airtel also increased. Reliance Industries remained the most valuable company.
