TVS has introduced the V1 variant of its Orbiter electric scooter in the Indian market. The scooter is priced at ₹49,999 (ex-showroom, Delhi) with the BaaS model. While the complete model with battery is priced at ₹84,500. If we talk about the main features of this scooter, it has a removable battery pack with a capacity of 1.8 kWh. Once fully charged, it can run for a distance of 86 km. The TVS Orbiter V1 gets features like LED headlamp, color LCD cluster, incoming call display, mobile app connectivity, 845 mm long flat seat, 290 mm straight footboard, 34 liter underseat storage. 3. Ampere Reo 80
The Ampere Reo 80 scooter was launched in April 2025 at Rs 59,900. It is a low-speed electric scooter that is especially suitable for new EV users. These include a color LCD cluster, disc brakes for the front wheel, ‘key-less start’ with premium key-fob and alloy wheels. While the scooter offers a range of 80 km on a full charge, its top speed is limited to 25 km per hour. Komaki’s X-One series is considered to be one of the most affordable electric scooters in the Indian market. Models in this series are priced between ₹34,999 to ₹59,999 (ex-showroom). The ‘flagship’ (best) model in this range is equipped with a 2.2 kWh lithium battery, which comes with a 3-year warranty. Depending on the battery pack it offers a range of 60 to 150 km.
