BW donates $40,600 to aid typhoon Yagi recovery

BW has donated VND1 billion (US$40,609) to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to aid local communities in recovery from typhoon Yagi.

“Charity activities are an integral part of BW’s company culture, as we recognize the importance of operating responsibly and empathetically, especially in the wake of natural disasters and other crises,” said Lance Li, CEO of BW.

In 2021, during the Covid-19 pandemic, BW donated VND1 billion for vaccine purchases and repurposed 80,000 sq.m of warehouse space into a field treatment center.
