Elderly man dies by drowning in water

69-year-old Rambharose, a resident of village Dharampur in Kampil police station area, died by drowning in flood water. He had gone to get fodder for the animals. While bringing the fodder, he drowned in the water and died. The family of the deceased is inconsolable. The matter was reported to Kampil police station late at night. On Tuesday morning, the police have filled the Panchnama of the deceased’s body and sent it for post-mortem.

The deceased’s son Bhure said that my father had gone to get fodder for the animals. But he did not return till late evening. The family started looking for him, also asked the villagers and nearby relatives but he could not be found. When they searched around, sugarcane leaves and his stick were found floating in the water. After that the villagers searched in the water and after searching for about 5 hours, his body was found at 7 pm
