BYD Celebrates Production Milestone with 15 Millionth New Energy Vehicle
BYD’s sales performance in 2025 reflects steady growth and strong market momentum.
From January to November 2025, the company sold 4.182 million vehicles, representing an 11.3 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
International markets played a key role in this growth, with overseas sales reaching 917,000 units.
This overseas sales figure has already exceeded BYD’s total international sales for the entire year of 2024.
BYD’s new energy vehicles are now sold in more than 119 countries and regions spanning six continents.
In India, BYD sold 425 vehicles in November 2025, down from 570 units in October.
This drop reflects a month-on-month decline of 25.44 percent in the Indian market.
Despite the monthly decline, November 2025 sales showed improvement compared to November 2024, when 367 units were sold.
The year-on-year comparison indicates a growth of 15.80 percent in BYD’s Indian sales.
