California Mpox: First case of clade 1 Mpox confirmed in California
According to reports, the person diagnosed in the state of California had recently traveled from East Africa and was treated and discharged shortly after returning to the US at a local medical facility.

The agency advised people to avoid close contact with people with symptoms of mumps or the materials they used and to get vaccinated. People with mumps often develop a rash that may appear on the arms, legs, chest, face, mouth, and near the genitals. The incubation period is three to 17 days.
