“Call made” by PL clubs for Antoine Semenyo; Transfer talks on
Manchester United have joined the race to sign Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo after making initial contact to understand the player’s situation, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. The Red Devils are not alone, with Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur also reported to have made calls in the last 48 hours as interest in the Ghana international continues to grow ahead of the summer window.
Semenyo has been one of Bournemouth’s standout performers this season, impressing with his pace, physicality, and versatility across the frontline. Capable of operating on either wing or through the middle, the 24-year-old has attracted attention from several top Premier League clubs who view him as a dynamic attacking option with room for further development.
Romano adds that Liverpool have also kept tabs on Semenyo, having made contact back in November. However, the Merseyside club are currently assessing the future of Mohamed Salah before deciding whether to intensify their pursuit of the Bournemouth attacker. Salah’s situation could play a key role in determining Liverpool’s next move in the market.
Tottenham Hotspur, meanwhile, are described as being “very interested” in Semenyo. Spurs see him as a strong fit for their attacking system, but any potential deal will depend heavily on the player’s own preference and the project presented to him.
