Cameron Green becomes the most expensive foreign player of IPL

Australian all-rounder Cameron Green was bought at the highest price in this auction. Green’s base price was Rs 2 crore, but Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) included him in their team for a sum of Rs 25.20 crore. With this price, Green has become the most expensive foreign player in IPL history. Not only this, he has also proved to be the most expensive player for KKR.

KKR made big purchases

Apart from Cameron Green, teams also spent huge sums on other players. Bangladesh fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman was bought by KKR for Rs 9.20 crore, whose base price was Rs 2 crore. At the same time, Australian wicketkeeper batsman Josh Inglis was included in their team by Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) for Rs 8.60 crore. The base price of English was also Rs 2 crore.

Aaqib Nabi Dar’s luck shines

Aaqib Nabi Dar, who had a base price of Rs 30 lakh, was bought by Delhi Capitals (DC) for Rs 8.40 crore. This auction proved to be very profitable for him. RCB surprised everyone by buying young bowler Mangesh Yadav, who had a base price of Rs 30 lakh, for Rs 5.20 crore.
