Campaign to get name added to voter list will start, get your name added by filling Form-6

Moradabad.Just before the Lok Sabha elections, a mega campaign is going on to completely clean the voter list. There is good news for the people who are worried about the name being deleted – the District Election Officer has clearly said that “the name of any real voter will not be deleted”. For this, a big meeting was held with political parties and special arrangements are being made at every booth on 13th December.

Who was there in the meeting and what happened? (Who and What)

District Election Officer Anuj Singh called representatives of all the big parties including BJP, SP, BSP, Congress, RLD in the auditorium of the Collectorate. In the meeting, the entire progress of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision, assembly-wise, was reviewed. Every point was discussed openly and all the doubts of the parties were answered immediately.

When and where will the biggest action take place? (When and Where)

Most important date –13 December 2025On this day, BLO (Booth Level Officer) will be present at every booth in the district from morning to evening. The BLO of your locality will sit at the same booth where you cast your vote. Nominated BLAs (Booth Level Agents) of political parties will also be present.

What will happen on 13th December? (What will happen)

Thousands of names falling in the Absent, Shifted and Duplicate (ASD) category will be re-verified.

• If your or your family’s name has accidentally appeared in this list, then go to the booth and tell them – the name will be saved.
• If the name of any genuine voter is missing, it will be added immediately.

Where to see ASD list? (How to check)

• BLO will have the complete list at your booth.
• Also, the list has also been uploaded on the official website of Moradabad, moradabad.nic.in. Just search your name, if you are in ASD then definitely reach the booth on 13th December.

Youth who have completed 18 years can get their names added by filling Form-6.

• Form will be available free from BLO
• Householders can fill the enumeration form, but Form-6 will have to be filled by the applicant himself. Do not forget to take the identity card, address proof and photograph with you.

Election Commission of India revised schedule:

• Calculation period is ongoing – till 26 December 2025
• Draft voter list will come – 31 December 2025
• Claims and objections can be made – from 31 December 2025 to 30 January 2026
• Settlement of all complaints – by 21 February 2026
• Final voter list will come – 28 February 2026

Appeal to political parties – activate your BLA

DEO Anuj Singh told all the parties – “Your BLAs are the biggest strength. They should be active at the booth so that no one’s rights are violated.” Deputy District Election Officer Sangeeta Gautam, SDM Sadar Ram Mohan Meena, Joint Magistrate Aditya Srivastava and many other officers were present in the meeting.
