Police say the case began in the early months of 2025, when the accused visited several clinics under the pretext of health-related problems. After repeated complaints were filed by the women, the police took action and arrested the accused on charges of indecent act and identity related crimes.

Indecent acts by visiting different clinics

According to investigators, the accused, who has been identified as Vaibhav, visited several health centers for months and gave fake symptoms and on the basis of these, tried to have inappropriate conversations with female doctors. Police allege that these fabricated symptoms were used as an excuse to initiate inappropriate conversations with female doctors.

Accused of using fake identity also

Peel police claimed that on some occasions the accused not only exposed his genitals through his clothes, but also used a fake name to hide his real identity. According to investigators, he would sometimes reach clinics pretending to be Akashdeep Singh and put pressure on female doctors by falsely citing health problems.

Arrested on December 4, many serious charges registered

PRP’s 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau said on Tuesday that the young man, a resident of Brampton, was detained on December 4. At present the accused is in police custody waiting for the bail decision.

Officials say that the investigation is still going on and there is a possibility that other victims may also come forward and register their complaints. Police have appealed for any potential victims or anyone with information to contact them.
