Car fell into the canal, mother and innocent daughter died in agony, husband saved by holding bushes

A heart-wrenching news has come out from Sri Muktsar Sahib of Punjab. Here Sunday night came as a fate for a family, when their car went out of control and fell straight into the canal. In this tragic accident, a mother and her two and a half year old innocent daughter died due to drowning in water. At the same time, the person driving the car came out of the jaws of death due to the charisma of nature and his courage.

This accident happened on Sunday night at around 8:30 pm. Sahil Kheda, 40, resident of Alamwala (Moga), was returning home from Sirsa with his wife Simran Kaur (35) and two and a half year old daughter Takdeer Kaur. The journey was going smoothly, but suddenly the bright light of a car coming from the front fell into Sahil’s eyes. The light was so bright that Sahil lost track of the road and lost control of the car. Within no time his car got stuck in a deep canal on the roadside.

Bushes saved husband’s life

As soon as it fell into the canal, the car window opened and Sahil started flowing in the strong current of water. Death was close, but Sahil did not give up. While floating with the flow, suddenly some bushes came in his hand. He grabbed those bushes with all his strength and started shouting for help. Hearing the screams, the nearby local people immediately ran towards the canal with ropes. After a lot of effort, people pulled Sahil out safely with the help of a rope.

Stopped breathing before reaching the hospital

After saving the husband, people immediately jumped into the canal and pulled out the drowning woman and child. Both of them were immediately taken to the Civil Hospital of Malot. However, the doctors present there declared Simran and innocent Takdeer dead. As soon as the news of the accident was received, a wave of mourning spread across the area. Police have started investigating the case and the bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem.
