Accident in Attapur leads to traffic congestion in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: A rashly driven car caused chaos near PVNR Pillar No. 143 at Attapur in Rajendranagar area, on Tuesday morning.
The car, reportedly driven at high speed, first crashed into a stationary lorry and overturned on the busy roadway.
As per information available, two persons travelling in the car were injured in the crash. Passersby, immediately rushed to the spot and rescued the injured and shifted them to a nearby private hospital for treatment. Their condition is said to be stable.
The accident led to heavy traffic congestion at the spot, with vehicles moving at slow for a long time. Meanwhile, just at some distance away from the spot, in the slow-moving traffic, another mishap occurred when a speeding Activa scooter rammed into a lorry from behind.
The scooter rider suffered injuries in the incident. Rajendranagar police said no major injuries were caused and were investigating the circumstances which led to the crashed.
