Car Price Hike: Prices of Jeep and Citroen vehicles will increase from the new year, know the details

Car Price Hike: Jeep and Citroen, both companies owned by Stellantis, have announced an increase in the prices of their vehicles from January 1, 2025. This increase in prices will be up to 2%. However, the companies did not clarify which model would be affected the most, but said that the price increase would depend on the variant.

Reason for increasing the price

Jeep and Citroen say that this decision has been taken to balance rising input costs and higher operating expenses. Shailesh Hajela, Managing Director and CEO, Stellantis India, said, “While this step is necessary due to rising input costs and exchange rates, we remain steadfast in our commitment to provide customers with high quality and a great driving experience.”

Stellantis India has given customers the opportunity to buy Jeep and Citroen vehicles at current prices till 31 December 2024. Along with this, attractive year-end offers are also being given.

Growth of other automobile companies also

Apart from Jeep and Citroen, many other car manufacturing companies are going to increase the prices of their vehicles from January 2025.

Maruti Suzuki: Prices will increase by up to 4%.
Tata Motors: Prices of PVs and EVs increased by up to 3%.
Kia India: Increase in vehicle prices by up to 2%.
Hyundai: Increase in vehicle prices by up to ₹ 25,000.
Mahindra: Prices of SUVs increased by 3%.
MG Motor India: Prices will increase by 3%.
Mercedes-Benz India: Prices of all models increased by up to 3%.
BMW India: Increase in prices of all vehicles by up to 3%.

Due to rising input costs, commodity prices, and logistics expenses, almost all major auto companies have decided to increase prices from January 2025. However, customers will have the opportunity to buy the car at old prices till the end of the year.
