Vehicle Sales Record India: The Indian automobile sector has created history in the financial year 2026. Highest jump in tractor sales

The highest growth this year was in the tractor segment:

  • Growth: 18.95%

This shows that the pace of shopping has increased in rural areas also.

Commercial vehicles also performed well

March 2026: The most wonderful month

March, the last month of the financial year 2026, was the most explosive:

  • Total sales: 26.9 lakh units
  • Annual growth: 25.28%

Segment wise:

  • Two-wheelers: 19.5 lakh units (28.68% jump)
  • Four-wheelers: 4.4 lakh units (21.48% growth)

This is the first time that such a large number of cars were sold in a month.
