2 cups water
1/2 cup coriander leaves
1 teaspoon ginger
1 tbsp green chilli
4 cups wheat flour
salt as required
1/2 cup onion
8 tbsp ghee
Step 1
To make this breakfast recipe, grate the carrots, chop the onion, ginger, green chilli and coriander leaves and keep aside. Now, take a big bowl and add grated carrot, chopped onion, chopped ginger, chopped green chillies, chopped coriander leaves, wheat flour along with salt and water. Mix it well and knead it like dough. Keep in mind that the dough should not be too sticky.
Step 2
Take small portions from the dough and make round balls from them. With the help of a rolling pin, flatten these balls into round discs. Meanwhile, place a non-stick pan on medium heat and add ghee. When the ghee becomes hot enough, place a paratha on it. Bake the bottom side and apply oil on the top side. When it starts rising, turn it to the other side and cook well. Make sure both sides are crisp and brown.
step 3
Repeat this with each rolled paratha. Once ready, take them out on a plate and serve hot with curd or pickle!
