Case filed against Remo D'Souza and wife Liezel, accused of fraud of Rs 11.96 crore

A case has been registered against famous Bollywood choreographer and director Remo D'Souza, his wife Lizelle D'Souza and five others on charges of fraud. Mumbai's Thane police said the complaint was filed on Saturday.

Remo and his wife, along with others, are accused of fraud of Rs 11.96 crore. In this case, an official said that a 26-year-old dancer has made this allegation against 5 other people including Remo and his wife Liezel. The victim dancer lodged this complaint at Mira Road Police Station in Mumbai on 16 October. Police have registered a case against Remo D'Souza and 6 others under sections 465 (forgery), 420 (cheating) and other sections of the Indian Penal Code.
