During an interview with Times Now, the actress told that she has been cheated by many people in this industry. She is fed up with the work culture here. On the pretext of giving them work, pressure is put on the actress to do dirty work. Despite being in the industry for 10 years, she is not given respect.

Sara said that like Bollywood, there is casting couch in Punjabi cinema too. Things are getting very bad here. Many people put pressure on new girls to compromise for roles. They target them in such a way that they are never able to move forward. I myself have received dirty proposals three to four times from big stars of Punjabi industry. When I was just 18 years old, a 47-year-old middle-aged director called me to a hotel room.”

The actress told that “I was a part of that director's film. So he called and said that I have booked a room in the hotel. At 8:30 in the night he asked me to come to the room. But I refused. And the film was also rejected. Here everyone uses girls as coins.”
